RIGLIFE GTD desco
Master Driller Club

Nominate a
Master Driller

The board measures a day. This measures a driller. One name a year goes on the Master Driller buckle, chosen from nominations by employers and fellow drillers — so the nomination is the case for the man, and the case is what we need you to write.

Current holder

What it is judged on

Five things, weighed together. A driller does not have to lead on all five, but a nomination that speaks to all five is the one that wins.

Production

Footage that holds up over a season, not one good day.

Consistency

The same standard on a bad hole as a good one.

Leadership

What the rest of the crew does because he is on site.

Safe operation

How he runs the rig when nobody is checking.

GTD mindset

Looks after the machine and knows why it matters.

The nomination

Employers and fellow drillers can nominate. A driller cannot nominate himself — somebody who has worked with him has to make the case.

The driller

Enter the name of the driller you are nominating.

Enter the company he drills for.

Choose a country.

Rig or rigs he runs

Pick at least one rig. If it is not listed, choose Another make.

Why him

0 words — thirty or more, please

A nomination needs more than a line. Thirty words is about two sentences on what he did and what it took.

Worth covering

  • Production
  • Consistency
  • Leadership
  • Safe operation
  • GTD mindset
Pictures
